Computer game historian and Nintendo Life factor Liam Robertson has uncovered the long-lost peripheral and unreleased device called the WorkBoy. The WorkBoy – for those that do not understand – was an add-on for the Game Boy that turned Nintendos popular handheld gadget into a PDA – basically a little desktop computer.
Robertson has actually exceeded and beyond to share the story of the WorkBoy and his own experiences with it. A hallmark for this peripheral was very first signed up in 1992. It was developed by Source Research and Development in the UK, while a start-up company called Fabtek in the United States prepared to produce it in close cooperation with Nintendo.
